Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to emphasize the importance of harmonizing human resources management practices with organizational strategies and to give theoretical and practical information about human resource management functions with this awareness. Thanks to this course, each week students can take advantage of a wide range of “ready to go” HRM-related activities and will learn through experimental activities
Course Content: The theoretical developments of HRM,
The identification and analysis of HRM functions,
The development of HR strategies in line with business strategies,
Besides the theoretical point of views in-class activities of experimental learnings to encourage theory-to-practice applications

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To be able to know HRM theories and practices necessary for the development of HR strategies for businesses to achieve their strategic and operational goals
2) To be able to understand methods for aligning HRM functions with organization’s strategic and competitive strategies.
3) To be able to think analytically while developing policies that are compatible with the corporate strategies of the enterprise, with the awareness of their strategic role.
4) To be able to have the ability to do research, prepare reports and discuss in the field of HRM
