Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To provide students with the knowledge of the application of informatics, which is the systematic use of knowledge, science and technology, in nursing services offered to healthy or sick individuals.
Course Content: Explaining the importance of informatics, informatics terminology, nursing classification systems, electronic health records, clinical decision support systems, legal and ethical situations related to health information systems

1) Explain the importance of nursing informatics
2) Knows basic informatics terminology.
3) Examines health information systems.
4) Explain the importance of common language and nursing classification systems in nursing
5) Define electronic health record systems and clinical decision support systems.
