Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Comprehensive knowledge of the occupational health and safety procedures to be applied in construction works and the application of risk assessment, precaution and reporting in construction works.
Course Content: -Machinery, device and materials used in construction works
- Occupational accident hazards in construction works
- Factors causing occupational diseases in construction works
- Occupational safety measures to be taken in construction works

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) To be able to determine the necessary safety measures in construction works
2) Able to perform risk analysis in construction works
3) Preparing a health and safety plan
4) To be able to implement site management and keep records
