Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to teach the student the basic concepts and terms, content and limits of Occupational Health and Safety Legislation.

Course Content: It gives basic information about Occupational Health and Safety Legislation.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Comprehends the importance and cost of work accidents and occupational diseases, the responsibilities of employers and workers in this regard and the measures to be taken.
2) Analyze the causes of work accidents and occupational diseases, measures to be taken against work accidents and occupational diseases.
3) Can analyze the employer's legal responsibility.
4) Can analyze the general view of occupational health and safety in Turkey.
