Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of the course is to examine and discuss how organizations design processes such as social structure, technology, culture from the perspective of research and studies in the field of management and organization, the macro environment of organizations and organizational theories that explain how this environment characterizes organizations.
Course Content: organizational paradigms and metaphors, current topics of discussion in the field of management and organization, approach, resource dependency, the environment, and the concepts of culture, stakeholder theory, succession theory, transaction cost and resource dependence theories, institutional theory, and organizational ecology theory

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Learns and interprets organizational theories that represent different organizational paradigms and metaphors
2) Compares the assumptions, basic theses and basic concepts of organizational theories
3) Explains organizational behaviors and their reasons
4) Integrate and use organizational theories to explain organizational and managerial issues at the national and international levels
5) Develops a critical perspective on the knowledge and problems of the field of management
