Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course is to provide students with detailed information about pathologies frequently seen in childhood and adolescence.
Course Content: This course includes; Introduction, Historical Development, Child and Adolescent Mental Health and Development, Child Mental Health and Development, Trauma and Related Disorders, ADHD, Autism, Learning Disorders, Behavioral Disorders, Eating Disorders, Psychosomatic Disorders, Sexual Development and Disorders, Case Studies - Evaluation, Therapy Approaches, Course evaluation.

1) Mastering the basic theoretical approaches to the assessment of children and adolescents
2) To be able to explain the methods used in the evaluation of children and adolescents
