Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: To introduce all the alphabets and their features in which Turkish was written throughout history. To give information about the origin of these alphabets. To give information about the centuries in which the alphabets in which Turkish was written were used, in which Turkish states and by which Turkish tribes.
Course Content: The alphabets in which Turkish was written from the beginning to the present and important works written in these alphabets will be discussed.

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Students specialize in recognizing the alphabets in which Turkish was written throughout history.
2) Can read Turkish texts written in different alphabets.
