Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Teaching the Kokturk letter texts and comprehending the grammatical features of these texts.
Course Content: Other than the Orkhon Inscriptions, texts with Kokturk letters will be read, and the grammatical features of Kokturk will be examined through these texts.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Can read inscriptions with Köktürk letters.
2) Knows the discussions and current studies about the origin of Köktürk letters.
3) Knows the discovery process of Köktürk inscriptions and academic/scientific studies.
4) Knows orthographic and grammatical features of Köktürk letter inscriptions.
