Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: This Course aims to introduce the students to the basic concepts and rules of law with an emphasis on the Turkish legal system
Course Content: Historical development, sources of international law, principle documents, conventions, institutions and treaties that created this field of law, UN efforts.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) They will be demonstrate a clear understanding of the main concepts of law.
2) They will be understand the differences between Law, Ethics, Religious Order, Etiquette.
3) They will be understand the creation and the interpretation of laws.
4) They will be understand the differences between Public Law v. Private Law.
5) They will be understand the main legal systems in the world.
