Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: Teaching how to make a periodontal examination, diagnosis, and treatment plan, and how to use periodontal hand tools on phantom models within the correct ergonomic rules.
Course Content: Periodontal examination and diagnostic methods, treatment planning, use of periodontal hand instruments on phantom models within correct ergonomic rules

1) Knows and performs intra-oral examination methods
2) Can use periodontal instruments, dental mirror, and finger rest properly and ergonomically
3) Works ergonomically and by sitting in the correct position
