Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The aim of this course; To enable students to understand the concepts related to health education so that they can give effective health education, to provide knowledge and skills for effective education planning, implementation and evaluation of results, and to prepare them for the role of professional nurse educator
Course Content: Quality management course in health; It includes the basic concepts of quality management in health services, total quality management, measuring quality in health services, patient safety in health and nursing services, continuous improvement, quality assurance systems and improving quality indicators related to nursing and health within the scope of quality standards in health.

Learning Outcomes

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Analyzes the impact of patient safety culture on health and nursing services.
2) Evaluates the impact of leadership on the quality management of health and nursing services.
3) Become aware of the philosophy and principles of quality management in healthcare services.
4) Evaluates the impact of teamwork on the quality of health and nursing services.
5) Recognizes their role and responsibilities in improving quality and improving patient safety in health and nursing services.
