| Course Objectives: | To know the pathophysiology of renal failure disease, to be able to follow patients who need dialysis (Hemodialysis-Peritone dialysis), to prepare and use the tools and equipment used in dialysis, to learn patient care in dialysis, to develop care goals for the problems of the dialysis patient and to gain the ability to make appropriate plans for the nursing care process. |

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Defines the health needs of patients on hemodialysis and peritoneal dialysis 2) Makes the necessary nursing practices to improve the quality of life in dialysis patients 3) Recognizes and uses the tools and equipment used in dialysis 4) Provides appropriate nutrition for dialysis patients 5) Takes precautions against infections that may occur during dialysis applications 6) Knows the complications of dialysis and tries to prevent them 7) Provides health education for dialysis patients and their families |
