Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: The general business course mainly aims to introduce students to the basic concepts of business. In our course, which is an academic introductory course, the institutional structure of the enterprises and their relations with the environment, which almost every working individual encounters in his working life, will be explained. At the same time, it is aimed that students will be able to ask questions about the concepts they encounter and to discuss these concepts by reconsidering them.
Course Content: In this course, the basic business concepts, the objectives of the business, the place of the business in the economy, its classification, the growth in the enterprises, the establishment of the enterprises, the operating capacity, the costs of the enterprise, the income and expenses of the enterprise, the business performance will be explained. Apart from this, students will be provided with interviews with the business owners within the scope of the questions determined, and the results of these interviews will be discussed in the classroom and they will be informed about the establishment and operation of the businesses.
