Course Objective and Content

Course Objectives: It aims to learn the basic design principles of typographic design, to understand the use of typography in different media and the importance of typography in visual communication.
Course Content: The basic elements of typography will be explained to the students, and subjects such as its brief history, concepts, fonts, letter spacing, line spacing, typographic anatomy, hierarchy will be explained with examples and hands-on with Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign programs.

The students who have succeeded in this course;
1) Having knowledge and experience in basic design principles such as color, texture, composition, space and typography
2) The relationship between text, photography and illustration is learned.
3) The use of text as a stain element within the page layout is learned.
4) Gain perception and design skills
5) Have the ability to solve basic design problems
